BCL Enclosures of Yorkshire is offering the BC range of hand-held cases for measuring instruments, wireless communication devices, and control and data recording devices.

• BC2 has a belt/pocket clip and integral PP3 battery compartment with a removable cover and clip-in terminals as standard.

      Four internal location pegs and sockets hold a PCB in place without the need for further fixings.
      The case is held together by two self-tapping screws concealed by the battery cover for a neat finish.
      The pocket/belt clip is supplied with each case, and can be fixed to it with two supplied screws.
      Manufactured from ABS, standard colours are matt black, white or light grey.
      The front of the case has feature panels for customisation such as company logos.
      103 x 62 x 23mm. 1.5mm nominal wall thickness.

• BC3 has a PP3 battery compartment with separate removable cover, and separate front cover.

      The two main halves of the case are held together with two supplied self-tapping screws concealed by the battery cover.
      The integral bezel and front cover can be removed for ease of manufacture.
      Moulded in ABS in high-impact matt black, white or grey with a polished front panel.
      118 x 66 x 33mm. 2.0mm nominal wall thickness.

• BC5 offers a recessed front panel suitable for a membrane-type keypad, battery compartment separate removable cover and a belt/pocket clip.

      The two halves of the case held together with two concealed screws (supplied).
      The pocket/belt clip can be supplied with the case, an bought separately. It fixes in place with two screws.
      It is available in matt finish black only as standard.
      92 x 63 x 24mm. 2.5mm nominal wall thickness.

In all the above cases, RAL colours other than standard are available on request.

• BC4 is an instrument or calculator case with a battery compartment, moulded from matt black or white ABS.

       The integral battery compartment has a slidin cover and will take two PP3 batteries.
      Internal PCB pillars are provided in both halves of the case, which are held together with four supplied self-tapping screws.
      There is a window (49 x 20mm) at one end, where there can be a removable panel for leads, or a window for infra-red remote control applications.
      154 x 81 x (37.5mm at the upper end, tapering to 33mm). 2.0mm nominal wall thickness is 2.0mm.
