Mouser is now stocking the Lumawise Endurance S connector system from TE Connectivity.

The keyed system is comprised of products designed for sensors and other control systems, including a receptacle connector placed on a street light and several base and dome combinations.

It aims to provide a standardised ecosystem that gives designers flexibility in applications such as street and area lighting, roadway lighting, photo controls, commercial outdoor lighting, and city management systems.

It features multiple key combinations, with a standardised interface between the receptacle and sealing cap or module base.

There are four base and dome combinations at 40mm and 12 at 80mm, with an integrated single gasket that can accommodate and seal both module and luminaire using the same connection interface for 40mm and 80mm central management systems.

The system is field upgradeable, allowing users to modify deployed luminaires.

The Lumawise Endurance S system is Zhaga Book 18 certified, features a 5A and 250V contact rating with a 10kV dielectric withstand voltage (hipot) rating to the mounting surface. It is mounted using an M20x.15 thread, and sits 10mm above the luminaire.

The IP66- and IK09-rated receptacle assembly, base and dome combinations provide a sealed electrical interface between slim design LED streetlights and the associated sensor modules.

Its also rated IEC61984 and UL773, in addition to being CB certified.
