Recom’s Rem2 isolated dc-dc converters are now available at Dengrove Electronic Components. Aimed at medical applications, the converters can deliver up to 2W and 2MOPP/250VAC working voltage in an SIP8 package.

The converters are certified to IEC/EN 62368-1 and 60601-1, and offer reinforced 5.2kVDC/1-minute isolation.rem2

They are also covered by a CB report to ease certification of end products in scheme member countries worldwide.

By adding an external LC filter, operators can make the converters EN60601-1-2 and EN55011 compliant also.

Rem2 converters achieve up to 85% efficiency and operate over a temperature range from -40° to 80°C without derating and 95°C at 50% load.

The Rem2 series comprises 32 variants including 3.3V, 5V, 9V, and 12V single-output and ±3.3V, ±9V, and ±12V dual-output models. Nominal input voltages are 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, or 24V.

The SIP8 package has a footprint of 8x23mm. At 12.2mm high, the converters are suitable for low-profile or portable equipment designs. They are also covered by a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
