Keynotes and topics announced for first-ever Wales Tech Week

The first-ever Wales Tech Week has confirmed more than 50 virtual events as part of the festival, which runs 13 – 17 July and is free to access.

Keynotes and topics are announced for first-ever Wales Tech Week

It is designed to showcase the Welsh technology industry and its applications in use across the world, and the first keynote is by Lee Waters MS, Deputy Minister for the Economy and Transport in the National Assembly for Wales.

Confirmed events include Space, Videogames, VR, UX, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Fintech, EdTech, and MedTech.

Also available during the festival are a series of workshops featuring industry experts covering topics such as securing investment, accelerating growth, contract law, HR and employment, podcast creation, content marketing and PR.

The brands involved include BBC, Spotify, Thales, GoCompare, Confused.com, Global Welsh, IQE PLC, Method 4, Sony, General Dynamics, Cardiff University, Swansea University and the University of South Wales.
