750W medical power supply

Delta Electronics has added a 750W power supply to its MEB Series of medical enclosed power supplies – adding to existing 500W and 1,200W types.

Called MEB-750A24, it comes in a 4 x 7 x 1.6inch (101 x 178 x 40mm) enclosure and provides a single 24V output with 5V 2A stand-by output. It can deliver full power from -20°C to 50°C without de-rating.

“This power supply offers current sharing, conformal coating, and electric shock protection complying with 2 x MOPP suitable for type BF Medical products,” according to London-based Luso, which is handling the part. “Additional features include ±10% voltage trimming with options on remote on/off and power good signals.”

It comes comes with a C14 Inlet (MEB-750A24B) or there is a version (MEB-750A24T) with an alternative US barrier strip connector.

The power supply is certified to medical, ITE and home appliance safety approvals, including UL/CE/CSA/CCC and CB certification.
