Vishay aims to save space in automotive Class-D audio amplifiers with two independent inductors in the same package.
Vishay-IHLD-2525GG-5A-dual-inductor-small
Built into a 2525 case size (under 8 x 8 x 8mm), the AEC-Q200 qualified IHLD-2525GG-5A inductors are intended “to provide noise filtering in Class D amplifiers”, they “consists of two IHLP inductors with operating temperatures up to +155°C in one compact package”.
Coupling between the inductors is described by the company as “low coupling for minimal cross-talk”.
Designed to operate at carrier frequencies up to 2.1MHz, typical dc resistance is between 7.06mΩ and 154mΩ, depending on nominal inductance. Rated current is up to 13A in the highest current part.
The package is Pb-free and shielded, and constructed to “reduces buzz to ultra low levels”. Operation is across -55°C to +155°C.
