Artila Electronics, specialists in Arm-based embedded computers, has launched its IoT Gateway Matrix-752.
IoT Gateway Matrix-752 addresses remote applicationsIt’s addressing the growing demand for edge analytics, networking and securing data flows between devices. Particularly, says the company, the needs of smaller networks required for low-power, remote applications.
Built on a 800MHz Cortex-A7, with 512MB SDRAM and 16GB eMMC, it supports the Linux kernel 4.19.x and operates with a temperature range of 0~70°C (32~158°F).
In terms of interfaces and ports, there are two 10/100Mbps Ethernet interfaces, an RS-485 / RS232 serial port, an RS-232 serial port, a USB On-the-Go port, a CAN port and a Micro-SD socket.
“The highly integrated IoT Gateway Matrix-752 was specifically designed to meet the needs of smaller networks required for remote applications, the smaller size and DIN Rail mount capability means the Matrix-752 is ideal for the limited cabinet space requirements of most remote operations. Built-in layered security functionality ensures that the network stays protected at all times. Additional devices can be added quickly and easily without the need to configure the communication paths.”
