TTI Europe moves east ; sets up Romanian office

Component distributor, TTI Europe, has opened a new office in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, as it capitalises on growth in eastern Europe. The company says it has seen an increase in development and design in the region, resulting in increased demand for interconnect, passive and electromechanical components.

Martina Drimala (pictured) has been appointed as regional sales director, Eastern Europe, responsible for Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgeria, Russia and the Ukraine. TTI opened a warehouse in 2018 to serve the region which has logistics and materials handling equipment for 18 bn pieces of inventory with over 550,000 active part numbers.

Drimala commented: “The increased focus in this area will give customers a guarantee of the widest choice and availability of parts, as well as specialist technical help for their engineering teams with all their [bill of material] BoM challenges.”
