October equipment billings of $2.64 billion were up 26.9% y-o-y, reports SEMI, however they were 3.7% down on September’s $2.74 billion.
October 2019 billings were $2?08 billion..
“Following the record-breaking September results, billings of North America-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers continue to show strong results in October,” says SEMI CEO Ajit Manocha, “the coming months should reaffirm the positive momentum as industry leaders are issuing guidance for a strong fourth quarter despite continuing trade tensions and the intensifying pandemic.”
