Insight SiP, the miniature RF module specialist deploying SiP and Antenna-in-Package technology, has signed an distribution agreement with Avnet Japan which operates in nine major Japanese cities.
From today, Avnet Japan can supply RF modules across Insight SiP’s RF module range including:
Bluetooth Low Energy modules for short range networking including the ISP19, ISP18 and ISP15 series RF modules.
Low Power Wide Area Network modules including LoRa connectivity with  the 45 Series device available in the ISP4520-AS variant adapted to the Japanese market.
To support product developers, Avnet Japan will also offer Insight SiP’s development kit together with sample software that provides everything required out of the box to start developing a solution on day one.  

 “A particular strength of this partnership is that Avnet Japan already has franchises in Japan for many of our key chip suppliers such as Nordic Semiconductor, Semtech and Qorvo,” says Insight SiP’s Nick Wood, “so it will now be able to offer customers integrated certified module solutions to complement these chip level offerings.”
