STMicroelectronics' precision bidirectional current sense amplifier with a shunt resistor can sense over a wide range of voltages

Image of STMicroelectronics TSC2010 Current Sense AmplifiersSTMicroelectronics' TSC2010 precision bidirectional current sense amplifier senses the current over a wide range of common mode voltages (from -20 V to +70 V), regardless of the supply voltage, thanks to a shunt resistor. It is available with an amplifier gain of 20 V/V and can sense very low drop voltages (as low as 10 mV) full scale minimizing the measurement error.

The TSC2010 can also be used in other functions such as precision current measurement, overcurrent protection, current monitoring, and feedback loops.
