MaxLinear's MxL7225 power module is a complete dual 25 A or single 50 A output switch mode DC/DC power supply with an input voltage of 4.5 V to 15 V. It offers higher efficiency and better thermal performance than the competition while matching pinout and functionality. This power module integrates the switching controller, power FETs, inductors, and all supporting components. The MxL7225-1 is identical to the MxL7225 but without internal compensation, giving designers more design flexibility. The MxL7218 is a lower output version, offering dual 18 A or single 36 A output.
