Renesas' smart kitchen appliance reference design shows a multi-human machine interface (HMI) function control and sensing solution with the RA6M3 32-bit microcontroller (MCU) consolidating system control.
Smart kitchen appliances have several features, such as color display, touch control, and sound feedback. Voice recognition is also an emerging feature for non-contact operation. Sensing functions such as humidity/temperature and gas can also be added as additional features to these systems.
