300 Litemax TFT LCDs have been supplied by Display Technology in a major transportation contract for a rail CCTV system.

The  1068E 10.4inch TFT LCDs emits 1600 nits LED backlighting and boasts high brightness of 1600 cd/m2 with a resolution of 800 x 600 (SVGA) and a viewing angle of 65°(H) and 65°to 45°(V).

The displays are suitable for the transportation environment with a wide operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C, low EMI noise, low power consumption and high shock and vibration resistance, says the company. It is also readable in sunlight.

Options available for this LCD are a finished or open frame monitor, a full AD card kit, with no metal work or there is a panel-only version with an LED driver.

Display Technology has confirmed that it will provide the unnamed rail customer with a further 500 LCDs over the next two years.
