Hopin eyes $7bn valuation

Hopin, the London startup which benefited from the pandemic-driven move to virtual events, is looking for new funds at a valuation of $7 billion, reports Bloomberg.
 
 
In a March Series C funding round Hopin raised $400 at a valuation $5.65 billion.
 
Investors include:  Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst,  Accel, LinkedIn,Tiger Global Management, IVP and Coatue Management.
 
 
Hopin has recently bought Streamable and Jamm to increase its video technology capabilities which underpin its online events offering.
