November billings of $2.12 billion by North America-based manufacturers of semiconductor equipment were 9.1% higher than the $1.94 billion billings posted in November 2018, says SEMI.
The November 2019 billings are 1.9% up sequentially on October’s billings of $2.08 billion
“Monthly billings of North American equipment manufacturers increased month-over-month for the second consecutive month,” said Ajit Manocha, president and CEO of SEMI. “This improvement in equipment billings meets industry expectations for a stronger close to 2019.”
The SEMI Billings report uses three-month moving averages of worldwide billings for North American-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers. Billings figures are in millions of U.S. dollars.
