Huawei hits back at WSJ’s $75bn state aid claim

Huawei has responded to allegations in the Wall Street Journal that, over the last 20 years,  it has received $75 billion in state aid.

 

The aid, says the WSJ, was made up of:

 

$46 billion in loans, lines of credit, and other financing from state lenders

 

$25 billion in tax breaks for tech companies

 

$2 billion in discounts on land purchases

 

$1.6 billion in grants
