Cosel has introduced three DIN rail mount ac-dc power supplies for industrial applications, in three power levels: 30W, 60W or 90W.

Intended for rack-mount use, all operate over 85 to 264Vac, and ambients of -20 to +70°C with derating caveats depending on local ventilation.

 

The 30W model, WDA30F, is available in four different output voltage variants: 5, 12, 24 or 48V. Typical efficiency at 30W is 88%.

 

WDA60F and WDA90F come in 12, 24 or 48V versions, and typically operate up to 90% efficiency.

 

They are 90mm tall, 90mm deep and 32mm wide, except the 90W madel which is 50mm wide.

 

All models include a potentiometer to trim the output after installation, and a ‘DC OK’ LED visually confirms output status.

 

Latching over-voltage protection is included alongside automatic recovery over-current protection.

 

Isolation is 3kVac input to output, 2kVac input to ground rating and 500Vac output to ground. 240Vac leakage is <0.75mA.

 

The WDA series comes with a 5-year warranty and complies with safety requirements UL62368-1, EN62368-1, C-UL (equivalent to CAN/CSA-C22.2 No.62368-1). They comply with the RoHS and Low Voltage directives and carry the CE mark and UKCA, according to the company.

 

Applications are foreseen in measurement and analysis equipment, machine tools, industrial robots, displays and process control.
