Intel IPOs Mobileye

Mobileye IPO’d yesterday selling 41 million shares at $21 apiece.

 

The price rose to $27 in market trading putting a value of $22 billion on the unit. Intel bought Mobileye for $15.3 billion in 2017.

 

The IPO raised $861 million for Intel.

 

Intel retains all Mobileye’s Class B shares giving it 99.4% of the voting power in the company.

 

Mobileye had $774 million of cash and cash equivalents in July.

 

In the year to December 25 2021 it made a loss of $75 million on revenue of $1.39 billion.
