EnSilica grows into new Bristol design centre

The opening follows a period of significant growth, says the company, with Bristol being chosen for its electronics heritage, its university links and the quality of life offered by the city.

The design centre is the company’s fourth in the UK – along side those in Wokingham and Sheffield, with the company’s headquarters and design facility being located near Oxford.

“The city was a natural choice for us as we go through this period of significant growth,” said EnSilica’s VP of SoC Engineering and head of the Bristol office, Davide Sarta.

“The city is home to one of the UK’s largest electronics hubs. The university is a leading centre of excellence for electronics. And the quality of life that the city offers means that many of those we’re hoping to employ will want to be there.”

The new office is located in the Origin Workspace building, pictured above, on Berkeley Square in the North West of the city.

A year ago, the company opened a centre in the central Sheffield Technology Parks, near to Hallam University.
