The WES Annual Student Conference heads to Manchester

Taking place on Friday 25 November 2022, the WES – Women’s Engineering Society – is holding its forthcoming Annual Student Conference at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester.

It returns as a physical face-to-face event, following previous virtual conferences.

 

“This event seeks to inspire students with talks, conversations, panel sessions and face to face networking focusing on the theme Inventors and Innovators,” write the organisers.

 

“Along with key industry leaders and expert speakers, the sessions will enable students to learn and hone useful personal and career development skills at this critical time in the employment market.”

 

In terms of cost, the all-day conference is priced as follows:

 

 

£95 pp – Standard Rate

£85 pp – WES Education Partner rate

£85 pp – WES Student Member rate

The price includes all talks, refreshments and full access to the museum as well as access to all subsequent online sessions during the week commencing 28 November.

 

There is also an online-only ticket, but note – this only offers access to the online sessions during the week of 28 November. It does not offer access to any of the sessions on the 25th, which are are not recorded.

The Women’s Engineering Society is a charitable company that was founded in 1919 to support women in engineering.

 

It operates as a Membership Society, promoting the education of women in engineering and advancing the education of the public concerning the study and practice of engineering among women.
