Electronica: TI plans distribution centre in Frankfurt

Texas Instruments announced plans to open a product distribution centre in Frankfurt, at Electronica.
 
TI planned Europe distribution centre
To be open by the end of 2024, it is being built to provide same-day delivery in central Germany and next-day delivery to most European-based for industrial and automotive customers.
 
“We are excited to expand our European presence in Frankfurt, as it offers a centralised location with proximity to key customers and our company’s European headquarters in Freising,” said Texas Instruments Europe president Stefan Bruder. “Frankfurt’s key role as a logistics hub will mean faster deliveries to our European customers.”
 
TI fab FreisingTI has been operating in Europe since 1956 and has a 200mm wafer fab in Freising (pictured), research and development teams, as well as more than 32 sales offices  across 18 European countries.
