Morse Micro raises A$30

Morse Micro, the Australian specialist in WiFi HaLow 802.11ah ICs operating in the 900MHz band, has received a A$30 million top up to its Series B funding round bringing the total capital it gas raised to A$200 million.
TelstraSuper, HESTA, Hostplus and NGS (managed by Blackbird Ventures) and UniSuper (managed by Uniseed) participated in the round.
Morse Micro intends to use the capital raised to accelerate IoT connectivity, increase scale and boost demand for Wi-Fi HaLow technology.

Morse Micro focuses on long-range, low-power wireless connectivity, enabling wirelessly connected devices which claim to achieve 10x longer range, covering 100x the area or 1000x the volume of traditional Wi-Fi networks.
