AMD is sticking to its $1.8 billion revenue forecast for Q1.
“Our best visibility is that the impact in the first quarter will be modest,” says CEO Lisa Su (pictured).
Su is aiming for 20% sales CAGR over the next five years, with the big datacentre companies which design their own servers – the so-called hyperscalers – providing a large part of that growth.
Data centre accounts for 15% of AMD’s revenues now and is expected to be 30% of revenues in five years.
Last year AMD revenues grew 50% to $6.7 billion.
Analysts expect 29% growth this year and 18% next.
