BEC signs WEE

BEC Distribution has become UK Distributor for WEE Technology Company (WEET), the audio capacitor manufacturer.
WEET’s range of capacitors add to BEC’s “Select” range of quality Alternative Passives, offering affordable, high-quality Alternatives to the major manufacturers.
WEE was founded over two decades ago to manufacture Plastic Film Capacitors, including Metallized Polyester and Polypropylene Film Capacitors. WEET specializes in premium capacitors for crossover audio circuits and music applications.
The capacitors are typically rated at +/- 5% of target value, ensuring speaker projects will have very little deviation between stereo pairs.
The low ESR and high damping factors ensure excellent transient performance through the crossover range where the capacitor has its greatest impact on sound.
Applications will include midrange/high frequency crossover networks and shunt circuitry in the networks of premium loudspeakers. They are also well-suited to feedback, bypass, coupling/decoupling and output capacitors for amplifiers, pre amps, digital to audio DACs
Axial, Radial and SMD packaging options are offered. For Axial and Radial capacitors, the standard packing is bulk, “ammo in box”, tape and reel. For SMD capacitors, the packing is tape and reel, ammo and reel packing.
