Bridgelux has announced its eighth generation of its chip-on-board products, delivering up to 185 lm/W from its V, Vero and Vero SE (pictured) Series families at nominal drive current – a 10% efficacy improvement over its previous product generations, it said.
“This performance is benchmarked at the 3,000K 80CRI colour point. Efficacies above 200 lm/W are possible at other colour points,” according to the company, adding that up to 3x overdrive capability is available, delivering a 30% increase in maximum lumens per light-emitting surface (LES) size – LES from 8mm to 29mm are available.
Sampling is now and production shipments scheduled for April this year.
