It writes:

“Having engaged tens of thousands of people over the first six of its 10 original stops, the event is now set to visit Wrexham (14-18 September) and Glasgow (21-25 September) before ending its three-month, 13 location tour of the UK in Plymouth (28 September to 2 October). “

The agency promises an “out-of-this-world” experience, which is set to tour 10 locations across the UK, with the aim of highlighting the role of space in our everyday lives and also the career possibilities within the growing space sector.

For example, as well as a range of hands-on activities to learn about the different jobs people have in the space industry – from engineers to coders to space doctors – there will be Q&A sessions with space industry experts.

“Our Space For Everyone tour is an exciting opportunity for our next generation to see first-hand what it is really like to work in the space sector and to learn about careers in this growing and exciting industry,” said Ian Annett, Deputy CEO at the UK Space Agency

“The space sector requires various skills – many not traditionally associated with it – and champions inclusivity and the need for innovation. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist, as there are a host of skills and talents needed to bring space closer to our daily lives and improve our understanding of this critical part of the environment for the benefit of the planet and its people.”
