Consumers continue to shun smartphone upgrades

The  slump in smartphone sales continued in Q2 with an 8% global fall, according to Smartphone Country Share Tracker.

Major countries saw the following declines:

 

 

Korea, declined 17%                        Samsung Z

 

 

Spain declined 10%

 

The UK declined 10%

 

The USA declined 19%

 

Canada declined. 17%

 

China declined 5%

 

Germany declined, 18%

 

India declined  4%

 

Japan  declined  7%

 

Braxil declined 22%

 

Mexico declined 12%.

 

Russia declined 9%.

 

Consumers appear to be unwilling to upgrade in the face of economic uncertainties.
