“The MXH series is AEC-Q200 qualified and has been temperature, humidity and bias (THB) life tested.

“The 2,000-hour test conducted at 85°C, 85% relative humidity at rated voltage subjected these components to twice the standard test hours required to meet IEC 60834, Class III-B for THB,” according to parts distributor New Yorker Electronics, which is stocking the parts. “The capacitor series also passed the rigors of AEC-Q200 automotive testing including mechanical shock and vibration, thermal cycling, solvent resistance and solderability.”

34 values are available across 0.1 to 15 μF, for use at up to 305Vac 50 or 60Hz, and from -40 to +110°C. Under the right conditions, 700,000hr operation is predicted.

Sizes range from 18 x 5 x 11mm tall to 42 x 30 x 45mm

Approvals include UL, CQC and VDE.

Industrial, automotive and consumer applications are envisaged, with motors and in automated meter readers, PSUs, chargers and  appliances.
