In 2023, the UK had more venture deals with US investors involved than any other country, says Pitch Book.

US investors participated in 526 UK deals during the year.

In Germany, US investors were involved in 176 funding rounds and, in France, 150 rounds. 

The biggest UK deals involving US investors were the personal lending site Abound‘s £500 million round, which included GSR Ventures, and General Atlantic’s participation in a £280 investment in dog food company Butternut Box.
