Synopsys has acquired Imperas the 18 year-old Thame-based software tools developer.

Imperas_Breker_RISC-V_VerificationApart from Imperas’ website saying “Imperas is now part of Synopsys” there has been no announcement of the deal.

The acquisition was completed on December 12th when the two directors, Simon Davidmann and James Kenney resigned.

Davidmann owned between 25% and 50% of the shares, according to a Companies’ House filing for December 31 2022.

 

No trading statement was included in the filing. The filing said that, on Dec 31 2022,  Imperas had cash of £3.4 million and liabilities of £823,000
