Globalfoundries is buying the Power GaN IP portfolio of fabless chip company Tagore Technology.
In its peak revenue year – 2023 – Tagore had revenue of $1.4 million. It has 29 employees.
IMG_3198-150x150.jpegThe acquisition expands GF’s power IP portfolio and broadens access to market leading GaN IP. A team of engineers from Tagore, dedicated to the development of GaN technology, will be joining GF.

Tagore was founded in January 2011 to pioneer GaN-on-Sinsemiconductor technology for Radio Frequency (RF) and power management applications.
Tagore has design centres in Arlington Heights, Illinois, USA, and Kolkata, India.
