Red Pitaya has upgraded its Stemlab 125-14 four-channel 60Mz software-defined test instrument.

Red Pitaya StemLab 125-14 Gen2
“This next-generation series enhances performance and reliability while maintaining backward compatibility,” according to the company. “With improved features such as enhanced RF input performance, USB-C connectivity, and a compact design, the Gen 2 series is designed to facilitate signal acquisition, generation and processing, whether used in educational settings, or in professional industrial or scientific environments.”

The new models retain two 60MHz 125Msample/s inputs, and two 60MHz 125Msample/s outputs.

The new models are:

Stemlab 125-14 Gen 2
Stemlab 125-14 Pro Gen 2 adds a connector for QSPI and eMMC booting and external clock input for multi-channel synchronization.
Stemlab 125-14 Pro Z7020 Gen 2 is like the Pro Gen2, but with double ram (1Gbyte), a larger FPGA (Z7020) and eight extra fast differential pairs.
“All offer enhanced RF input performance with reduced noise, cross-talk and distortions, an improved output voltage range of ±1V at 50Ω, and ±2V at high impedance,” said Red Pitaya.
