EE continued its trend of delivering fast speeds outside of major cities, clocking an aggregate 34.2 Mbps which could provide customers with buffer-free video streaming, quick music and video downloads,
EE led with an aggregate median download speed of 34.2 Mbps.
Vodafone trailed with median download speeds of 23.4 Mbps but was much faster than those of either O2 (13.1 Mbps) or Three (12.5 Mbps).
O2 and Three lagged behind EE and Vodafone, but both operators registered respectable speeds across Scotland.
Vodafone’s results across Scotland were strong in general. Customers can download their favourite movie from Netflix (at a file size of 600MB) in about 3.4 minutes.
