A letter from the Editor of Electronics Weekly

Author: EIS Release Date: Apr 21, 2020

The Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic has presented us all with practical challenges.

Electronics Weekly has taken the decision to suspend printing of the magazine, for a finite period that will most likely coincide with the duration of the current ’lock-down’.

For the next four issues the magazine will be distributed as a digital replica, which will function in the same way as the normal print edition in every way, minus the paper. It does, however, have the advantage of carrying live links in both advertisements and editorial text.

We’re doing this for a number of reasons:

  • We’re doing our bit to ease the pressure on postal workers, not least because the majority of our print subscribers have copies delivered to their place of work
  • We want to keep the industry connected and informed, making sure that our content
  • reaches the widest possible network of engineers and other electronics professionals
  • We want to reassure both readers and advertisers that we will resume print publication as soon as practicable.

If you have registered with the website you can access the digital edition by clicking the image of the
front cover of the magazine on our home page.

If you have not yet registered a click on the image will open an invitation to do so.
