Distributor Mouser Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with Essentra Components to supply its plastic injection moulded, vinyl dip moulded and metal components. This includes fittings, hardware, electronic components and fasteners, cable clips and clamps, cable ties, snap lock supports and rivets.

The cable clips and clamps to protect and route wires are available in fixed and adjustable designs. Bundle diameters are from 1/16 inch to 2-1/4 inches (1.5mm – 57mm). Mounting options include adhesive, screw mount, and snap-in models. Plastic and metal versions are available for use in aerospace and appliances.

Cable ties are available in lengths from three to 59-inches (75mm – 1,500mm) and use in weather-resistant nylon, polypropylene or stainless steel. Tensile strengths range from 18lbs- 250lbs (8kg-114kg). The range includes beaded and releasable ties for temporary applications or where change is needed, such as sign holders, decorations and security.

The rivets available can be installed by hand and available for multiple hole sizes and panel thicknesses for holding multiple materials together.  The plastic rivets are available in a variety of styles, sizes, and configurations.

The portfolio also includes snap-lock supports for spacing, locking and guiding PCBs. They negate the need for screws and nuts, provide electrical insulation and are available in a range of diameters and panel sizes. They are designed to be installed manually and do not require automated assembly equipment.
