Vaunix, the portable and programmable RF/microwave test device specialist, has released the first two in a series of Lab Brick devices available with Ethernet control.
The two new multiport Lab Brick Digital Attenuators are the 4-port LDA-802Q, and the 8-port LDA 802-8, each operating from 200 MHz to 8 GHz for a variety of L-, S-, and C-band applications that require the need for single shot or repeating attenuation ramps.
These 50 Ohm step attenuators are bi-directional and offer acdynamic range of 120 dB. They also feature a step size of 0.1 dB for ultimate signal attenuation control.
These portable and programmable RF/microwave test devices have been designed to suit high speed MIMO test platforms as they are easily programmed for fixed attenuation or swept attenuation ramps/fading profiles directly from the included Graphical User Interface (GUI). Additional testing applications include Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, and DVB systems, and microwave radio simulators.
Test technicians wishing to develop their own interface, can utilize Vaunix’s included LabVIEW drivers, Windows API DLL files, Linux drivers, macOS SDK examples, and more.
These portable, hand-held units can also be packaged as a single rack unit for ATE stands. Other custom engineering of electrical and mechanical specifications is also available.
Prices are $2,995 for the 4-port LDA-802Q, and $3,999 for the 8 port LDA-802-8.
